1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and any relocation service you book with Axtri Packers & Movers. Booking a move means you accept them, together with any written quotation or job sheet we issue for that move.

2. Quotations and estimates

Figures shared before a survey are estimates. A firm quotation is issued after we have assessed the volume of goods, access at both addresses, distance and dates. A quotation may be revised if the actual scope of work differs materially from what was surveyed — for example additional items, restricted access, or a change of date or address.

3. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate addresses, access details and contact numbers
• Declare any fragile, high-value, hazardous or prohibited items
• Carry cash, jewellery, documents and medication personally
• Ensure permissions and lift or parking access are arranged
• Check the consignment at delivery before signing it off

4. Items we do not carry

We do not transport flammable, explosive or hazardous materials, illegal goods, perishables, live animals, plants, or anything prohibited by law or by our carriers.

5. Liability

We take due care in packing, handling and transporting your goods. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the terms of the specific job agreement and any transit protection arranged for that move. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear inherent to the item, defects in customer-packed cartons, or delays caused by events outside our control such as weather, road closures, strikes or regulatory action.

6. Claims

Note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery record at the time of delivery, and report it to us in writing within seven days so we can investigate.

7. Payment

Payment terms are set out in your quotation. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the balance is due on delivery, before unloading is completed.

8. Cancellation and rescheduling

Tell us as early as you can if plans change. Cancellation or rescheduling close to the move date may attract a charge covering vehicle, crew and material commitments already made.
